Sessions with researchers and practitioners working on safety, in India and abroad.

How it works
We invite researchers, engineers, and policy people working on safety to speak — not to give a polished lecture but to explain what they are actually working on and why. We keep the format conversational: a short presentation followed by a long Q&A. We try to follow up each talk with a discussion session the following week, after people have had time to think.
Past sessions
A talk at The Hackers Meetup Ahmedabad on AI agents. It covered how people test and attack agents today and five open-source tools for doing it, and laid out six open problems in this domain.
A talk at NULL Ahmedabad's monthly security meetup that introduced AI alignment from the ground up: how today's AI systems are made, why that makes it hard to know what they have actually learnt to want, what researchers are doing about it, and how people in the room could help.
Tell us a little about yourself and we'll let you know about sessions that fit. No background in AI required — just curiosity and a willingness to argue in good faith.
