SAGA is a volunteer-run community in Ahmedabad. We work with companies, universities, research labs and other communities to run talks, workshops and reading groups on AI safety.

Ways to work together

Who we work with, and how

Companies and AI teams
- Host a reading circle or talk at your office, or cover a venue and snacks for one.
- Bring a workshop to your engineers on testing and red-teaming AI systems and agents, the material we have presented to security audiences.
- Meet people in Ahmedabad who think seriously about how AI fails, which is useful if you are building with it.
Universities and student groups
- Invite us for a guest talk or panel on AI safety, alignment or governance.
- Start a reading group on campus using our reading list and session format, with us there for the first few.
- Point students towards established global programmes, courses and fellowships in AI safety.
Research labs
- Present your work to an engaged audience that will ask hard questions about how it could go wrong.
- Run an informal discussion on the safety or evaluation side of a project.
- Get introductions to people and reading in the wider AI safety field.
Communities and meetups
- Add an AI safety talk to your meetup, as we have done with NULL Ahmedabad and The Hackers Meetup.

Content stays independent: Partners shape the format and audience, not the conclusions. We present the evidence as we understand it, including where we disagree.
Credit, not endorsement: We thank sponsors and hosts by name. We don't promote products or services.
Open by default: Our community sessions are free. Private workshops for a team are the exception, and we say so up front.
Honest about our size: SAGA is volunteer-run. We'd rather do a few things well than promise more than we can deliver.
